Climbing Wall and

Granite Mountain Lodge has a private, fully-bolted climbing wall in its own back garden. Carefully laid out by an experienced local mountain guide, it has 36 variations ranging from 4a to 7c. This is perhaps the only private climbing wall in Chamonix. (Use permitted only with qualified supervision for safety).

An extensive outdoor kitchen – with gas and charcoal BBQs, beverage fridge and sink with running water and drainage – allows summer meals to take place entirely outdoors, on the chalet’s large deck, surrounded by the mountains.

I had an incredible stay at Granite Mountain Lodge in Chamonix! The lodge itself is beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the area.

One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast each morning—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to a day in the mountains. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.

In December 2024 we spent three nights at Granite Mountain Lodge, with full catering. It exceeded our high expectations. The chalet’s design beautifully blends luxury with comfort, featuring spacious rooms, stunning mountain views, and top-notch amenities. It’s even nicer in reality than on the website.

The well-appointed bedrooms, each with a unique design, had cozy beds and gorgeous bathrooms with excellent rainwater showers. We particularly enjoyed the living room area with its high ceilings and panoramic windows showcasing the most famous mountains and glaciers in the area, including Mont Blanc.

Our stay at Granite Mountain Lodge in Chamonix was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home.

The lodge itself is a perfect blend of luxury and alpine charm. Every detail, from the cozy yet modern interior design to the stunning panoramic windows, was thoughtfully curated to enhance the mountain experience. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and offered some of the most incredible views we’ve ever woken up to. We’ll absolutely be back!

The lodge is beautifully located, has every amenity you could want and is staffed by excellent, healthy cooks! Fantastic spot to spend a holiday.
