Location

Granite Mountain Lodge’s location was chosen with care: a peaceful residential setting that is an easy walk to Chamonix town centre, yet with the sense of being immersed in the mountains. To the front, there are uninterrupted views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi; to the rear, the dramatic rock faces of the Aiguilles Rouges cascade into the large back garden.

Snowy mountains above quaint town

In the Heart of the Valley

Set on private grounds of more than 7,000 m², Granite Mountain Lodge offers a rare feeling of openness and privacy in the Chamonix valley. Guests can walk into town for shopping, cafés and restaurants, or use private transfers to reach the ski areas and trailheads in minutes.

Within five minutes’ walk are the famous Les Gaillands outdoor climbing walls (with readily-available instructors and over 100 routes across multiple sectors), Accro’Park des Gaillands (the largest adventure park in the Chamonix Valley), and trailheads for some of Chamonix’s most popular hikes (eg Petit Balcon Sud, Chalet Floria, and Parc Merlet).
